A BRIEF GUIDE TO SPOONFLOWER

Learn how to open a Spoonflower shop and how to upload your designs today!

Hi there!

It’s been a while since I had time to share with you in the blog. But don’t worry! I am here! And I come with great news! Isabel (@gyspsytailor) and I would like to share with you our chat: A Brief Guide To Spoonflower.

We are having so much fun sharing with you everything we have learned so far. It’s been a hard and lonely journey for both of us. So, when we meet, it was very clear to us that we needed to create a community of creatives to support and encourage each other. Because, you know, sometimes your family and friends, even though they have their best intentions, they just don’t get it!

That’s how CREATIVES ON THE GO was born. So, please join us, we want to hear from you! Isabel and I keep adding sources to help you in your journey but we also want to get to know you!

BUT, we didn’t want to stop there. We wanted to create a more personal and direct way to connect with you. So, we started going live! I know, it was scary. But we did it. And sometimes, that’s all you need, to just do it. Whether it’s perfect or not! And we are not perfect, but we had to let go of perfection to just be there for you!

In our first live, Isabel shared about opening an Etsy shop and she answered so many great questions. If you want to learn more about opening your own Etsy store, click here. She is so very knowledgable and it’s truly great to learn from her!

Then it was my turn. It was clear to me that I wanted to share about Spoonflower. There were several reason:

1.- It was the first POD (print on demand) shop I ever opened.

2.- It was also the very first platform were I made a sale (50 cents, but you can’t imagine my happiness).

3.- They platform offers so many great sources and ways to help you as a designer but I didn’t figure it all out right away. So, I think there are a lot of things to learn!

4.- It is my best selling platform.

5.- I LOVE Spoonflower, their fabrics, costumer service, resources, and community!

So, if you want to learn more just click here or in the image below to watch my chat with Isabel.

During the talk I explained how to open a Spoonflower and how to get your account verified so you can start selling your designs. Don’t worry, it’s not too complicated. Then, we talk about uploading your designs (the type of format you need) and how to proof your designs. One of the main things you should know if you are considering to open a shop it’s that Spoonflower requires that order a swatch of your design ($). They want you to make sure your design repeats correctly before you can sell it on their platform. I also talk about how you can make this process a little cheaper for you, because I know it’s specially important at the beginning!

We wanted to keep short and sweet so we didn’t put anyone to sleep!

But because there is so much more to the platform and we received so many great questions, I decided to create a little class so I can focus in each one of these topics in more depth!

So, I would love if you could answer some questions for me!

… I would like you to tell me (whether you already have a Spoonflower shop or not): What questions do you have? What would you like to learn from me? How can I help you?

I have created a little survey for you. I want to hear a little bit about yourself, where are you in your journey, and how can I help you.

It should take no more than 5 minutes!

AND as a thank you for your time I will select TWO people from everyone that fills out the survey and I will offer them to take the class for FREE!!!

As always, thank you so much for reading all the way!

If you watch the video and you enjoy it, please, give it a little thumbs up. It really helps us to get noticed!!

See you soon,

Ana
